Aseefa meets families of Karsaz attack martyrs, inquires about their issues

KARACHI: Aseefa Bhutto Zardari, daughter of former president Asif Ali Zardari, on Wednesday visited Karachi’s Manzoor Colony and met families of PPP activists martyred in Karsaz bombings in 2007, ARY News reported.

Aseefa visited the families of martyred activists, Tahir, Muhammad Rafiq and Ayaz Ali, and met the children and other family members.

Sources said that families of some martyrs had complaints that the party forgot the promises made with them.

Aseefa Bhutto Zardari reportedly met these families in order to inquire about their issues.

“I wish my visit could have solved all their problems, but all I could do was to comfort them and assure them that the PPP will never forget them,” she said through Twitter, after having met the martyrs’ families.

“They will never be forgotten and they need our help to ensure their issues are addressed,” Aseefa added. “PPP promises to do so. I promise to do so.”
