UAE, being sent in to bat first by Oman, managed to score 172/6 in their 20 overs with Muhammad Kaleem top scoring with 50 runs from 40 balls with five boundaries and two sixes.
Muhammad Usman made 46 runs from 22 balls with the help of six fours and two sixes while Mohammad Shahzad contributed 34 runs from 31 balls.
Aamir Kaleem took four wickets for the Oman side.
Chasing 173 runs to win, Oman keept losing their wickets on regular basis and could only make 101/8 in their 20 overs. Opener Zeeshan Maqsood was the only batsman to provide any kind of resistance to the UAE bowlers as he made 46 runs from 42 balls with five boundaries and a six to his name.
Mohammad Naveed and Qadeer Ahmed took two wickers each.
UAE qualified for the main draw of the competition after beating Afghanistan, Oman and Hong Kong. They will now play against Sri Lanka on 25th February.
