Asian Games: Pakistan Women’s cricket team to play Bangladesh in final

INCHEON: Pakistan Women’s Cricket team outclassed China Women with a nine-wicket win in the semi final of Asian Games 2014 played at Yeonhui Cricket Ground, Incheon on Thursday, ARY News reported.

Pakistan Women, after winning the toss, put China in to bat first, who were all out for 37 in 19 overs.

Off spinner Nida Dar bowled a magical spell and took four wickets conceding 7 runs in her three overs.

She was well supported by Bismah Mahroof, who dismissed 2 batsmen while Sana Mir and Asmavia Iqbal took 1 wicket each.

Pakistan Women chased the target in 8-over at the loss of one wicket. Javeria Khan scored unbeaten 21 while Bismah Maroof made 13*.

With the victory Pakistan are through to the final of the Incheon Asian Games to face Bangladesh, where they will defend their gold medal from Guangzhou in 2010.
