Asif gives 2017 deadline for ending loadshedding

SIALKOT: Federal Minister for Water and Power Khawaja Muhammad Asif has claimed that loadshedding will end by 2017, ARY News reports.

The federal minister was speaking with exporters and traders while touring Sialkot Dry Port.

Khawaja Asif said that power plants are being made in those areas where energy consumption is high.

He added that certain elements do not want to see Pakistan as a stable country.

It should be noted that Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N)leaders had claimed of ending the loadshedding in the country within six months while campaigning for the general elections of 2013.
