According to details, a bomb exploded near Bacha Khan intersection due to which one person was killed and 14 others were reported injured.
Firing was also heard in the area following the explosion.
The law enforcement agencies have surrounded the area and rescue operation is underway. The wounded are being shifted to a medical facility for treatment.
Several motorcycles and shops were damaged by the blast as well.
Deputy Mayor of Quetta has stated that the explosive material was planted on a motorcycle.
