ATC issue arrest warrants of six terror accused

KARACHI: An anti-terrorism court on Tuesday issued non-bailable arrest warrants against five alleged attackers of Mohabbat-e-Sindh rally in Karachi, ARY News reported.

The court today issued arrest warrants of five accused Arif, Adnan, Naeem Ikhlas, Shahzad and Hamid Siddiqui, all affiliated with Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM).

A key accused of the incident Amir alias Sarphata has already been arrested.

Sindh Home Department has issued a notification for transfer of the hearing of Zahra Shahid murder case to Karachi Central Jail.

Zahra Shahid, a PTI leader, was shot dead near her home in Karachi in year 2013.

The next hearing of the case against accused Kaleem, Rashid alias Tailor and Zahid Abbas Zaidi will be held on August 19 in central jail.

An ATC has issued non-bailable warrants against accused Ali Rehman alias Tota in Sabeen Mehmood murder case. Another accused of the case Saad Aziz has already been arrested by the law enforcement agencies.
