KARACHI: Director General Airport Security Force (ASF) has clarified that Karachi airport was not attacked but a fire was reported from Pahalwan Goth, ARY News reported on Tuesday.

D.G. ASF Azam Khan while talking to media said that it was not an attack but an incident of fire was reported. He called it a minor incident. Director General ASF said that the terrorists want to create an atmosphere of harassment and panic.

He claimed that the media ‘overblown’ the incident and advised to avoid such reporting, which has serious consequences.
