Australia drub India 4-0 to clinch Azlan Shah Hockey Cup

IPOH: Australia thrashed India 4-0 to win the 2016 Sultan Azlan Shah in Malaysia’s city of Ipoh, ARY News reported.

Kangaroos emerged victorious without losing a single game in the tournament.

Thomas William Craig netted the first for the Australians in the 25th minute and doubled his side’s lead ten minutes later.

Matt Ghodes made it 3-0 in the 43rd minute and scored the fourth goal in the 57th minute.

New Zealand stood at third place in the tournament with three wins while Malaysia was at fourth position.

Pakistan was at fifth position while the sixth and seven position went to Canada and Japan.
