Australia humble Pakistan 4-0 in Azlan Shah Hockey Cup

IPOH: Pakistan were thrashed 4-0 by Australia in their 2016 Sultan Azlan Shah Hockey Cup match at Malaysia’s city of Ipoh on Sunday, ARY News reported.

Blake Glovers, Thomas Craig, Jamie Dwyer and Aran Zalewski were the goal scorers for the Australian side.

Glovers scored the first goal for Australia in the 24th minute and Craig doubled the team’s lead in the 40th minute.

Dwyer extended Australia’s lead to 3-0 in the 42nd minute while Zalewski made it 4-0 ten minutes later.

Pakistan has only won a single game out of their three matches so far. They started off with beating Canada 3-1 and then lost to New Zealand 5-3.

The green shirts play their next game against India on 12th April.
