Former Australian cricketer Dean Jones deported from Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: Former Australian cricketer Dean Jones has been deported from Islamabad for not possessing a visa, ARY News reported.

According to sources in the Federal Investigation Agency, Jones was staying the country without having a visa.

The sources added that the former Australian cricketer also didn’t have any permit for stay in Pakistan.

He had arrived in Islamabad to attend ceremony of his Islamabad franchise in PSL.

On December 14, Mr. Jones had confirmed his appointment as the head coach for Islamabad franchise in the upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL).

The 54-year-old posted a video on his official Facebook account confirming his association with the Islamabad team in PSL.
