The challan could not be submitted even in Ayyan’s eight hearing today, hence the supermodel’s remad was extended till 28th May. Ayyan was once again dressed up for the event and this time, even international reporters were present at the hearing. Ayyan showed up dressed in a black and white upper.

The model was presented once again at the Banking Court before Justice Sabir Sultan. The judge expressed his displeasure at the partial submission of challan to which custom authorities responded by stating that two more suspects had to be questioned, to derive more information. They also disclosed that one of the two suspects had approached the court whereas the other’s arrest warrants had been issued. The other suspect would soon soon be presented before the court, they said.

The court demanded a written response for submitting an incomplete challan and further extended Ayyan Ali’s remand till the 28th of May. Ayyan Ali’s father Raja Hafeez, spoke with media officials outside the court and said that he wasn’t aware whose dollars Ayyan was carrying. Ayyan had earlier appeared before the court but did not meet her father. Her father tried to enter the courtroom but was stopped by police officials. Ayyan’s father stated that were he allowed to meet his daughter, many truths would be revealed regarding the case.

Ayyan’s father Raja Hafeez stated that his daughter was innocent and had been the victim of a conspiracy.
