Bakery, kitchen of Marriott Hotel in Islamabad sealed

ISLAMABAD: Following the footsteps of the Punjab Food Authority against adulteration, the Capital City administration has also stirred into action and raided a five-star hotel over poor hygiene standards and miserable cleanliness condition, ARY News reported.

The team raided Marriott Hotel in Islamabad and seized its kitchen and bakery after some insects were found from the facility besides poor cleanliness.

The raiding team discovered unclean dishes, rotten vegetables and insects from flour bags. The assistant commissioner immediately sealed the two sections.

In another action, popular bakery Tehzeeb was also sealed over poor hygiene.

On Thursday, another hotel was seized by the raiding team after some chemicals were found from food samples.
