Security forces and intelligence agencies carried out a raid at a compound in Chagai district along the Pak-Afghan border.
An exchange of fire took place between the suspected terrorists and the security agencies after which the terrorists laid down arms before the security personnel.
Earlier, government officials had also claimed arrest of six people in a similar raid in Nushki district of Balochistan.
Home Minister of Balochistan Sarfraz Bugti, in a press conference, had confirmed that the arrested six men were operatives of Daesh and Al-Qaeda.
It should be noted that Asad Tareen, abducted son of Balochistan provincial minister Sardar Mustafa Khan Tareen, was recovered from an area near Pak-Afghan border on Thursday.
