Bandit arrested from Karachi’s Jinnah Hospital

KARACHI: Police on early Monday morning apprehended a bandit from city’s Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre, ARY News reported.

Law enforcers arrested a bandit who was in the hospital to get treatment, said a source. He was taken into custody by the police.

Meanwhile, a body was found from Dhobi Ghat area. Police suspected that it could be a suicide case. The body was moved to a hospital for autopsy.

Separately, two criminals were killed during encounter with police in Lyari. Police were conducting a search operation in Mochko and Baghdadi areas when Lyari gang war criminals opened fire on them.

In retaliatory fire, two armed culprits – one of them was local commander of Sheraz Comrade group and the other was a suspected target killer. Police said the slain killers were involved in over 20 cases of targeted killings. Weapons were also recovered from their possession.
