The trailer for the upcoming movie was leaked beforehand, just a couple of days ahead of its intended screening on 20th April at an IMAX event. Following last year’s San Diego Comic-Con, footage shown during a panel for the film quickly spread on Youtube before Warner Bro. started taking it down.
The movie, which is being directed by acclaimed action director Zack Snyder, will hit theaters on March 24 next year. The trailer begins with a commentator’s voice asking, “Is it really surprising that the most powerful man in the world should be a figure of controversy?”
The trailer featured Superman being blasted by everyone, from Batman to Lex Luther. The movie is being anticipated anxiously as it is for the very first time that both superheroes will be seen sharing screen space together. This will be ace actor Ben Affleck’s debut as Batman, after he was assigned to play the dark knight when the Christopher Nolan series concluded.
Batman vs Superman will also feature a host of Marvel’s celebrated comic heroes such as Wonder Woman, Cyborg, Lex Luther and Aquaman. Lead actor Ben Affleck has played a superhero in the past, when he starred as Daredevil in 2003.
Ben Affleck’s question posed as Batman to Superman, is becoming quite viral. In teh trademark Batman husky voice, Affleck asks the Man of Steel,” Tell me can you bleed? You will!”
Whatever may be the case, fans just can’t wait to get their hands on a movie which features the two crime-fighting stalwarts trading blows with each other!
