Benazir Murder Case: ATC issues arrest warrants of five witnesses

RAWALPINDI: An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Wednesday issued arrest warrants of five witnesses over not appearing in the hearing of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto’s murder case, ARY News reports.

Judge Pervez Ismail Joya heard the Benazir Bhutto murder case and expressed his anger upon being informed of the absence of eye-witnesses from the hearing.

He issued the arrest warrants of Assistant Director of FIA Karachi Khalid Jameel, Inspector of FIA Karachi Nisar Jadoon, FIA Inspector Abdul Razzaq Meerani, DPO Jaffarabad Ashfaq Anwar Raja and SSP (Retd.) Javed Khan.

The court has ordered the authorities to arrest the persons and present them before the judge and adjourned the case till 9th February.
