Making new revelations in the much-talked-about case, Waseem said his elder brother Arif, who was living overseas, made the whole plan to murder Baloch and even had asked a cousin Haq Nawaz to help him.
Waseem was constantly in contact with brother Arif on the phone, told police officials investigating the case.
Baloch’s mother said her son strangled his sister after being taunted by his friends over her behaviour.
The death earlier this month of starlet Qandeel Baloch, who shot to fame for her provocative selfies and videos, shone a spotlight on such killings in Pakistan and re-ignited calls for legislative action to curb the crime.
Earlier, investigators also decided to question cleric Mufti Abdul Qavi over the killing of Baloch.
According to details, Mufti Qavi will be answering a questionnaire, comprising of 14 questions, prepared by the investigators and will appear before the investigators soon.
The cleric was removed from the Ruet-e-Hilal committee after his pictures and a video with Baloch appeared on social media platforms.
