KARACHI: Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has paid glowing tributes to his grandmother Begum Nusrat Bhutto on her 5th death anniversary
In a press statement issued here, the PPP Chairman said that Begum Nusrat Bhutto was the ‘mother of democracy’ who fought valiantly against the worst dictatorship in the history of Pakistan.
He said that the party members stood by her bravest resistance to the dictatorship following the overthrow of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.
Bilawal said that workers of the PPP will be paying homage to Begum Nusrat Bhutto on her death anniversary and the PPP will never forget her struggle, as she sacrificed her whole family for democracy and rights of the people of Pakistan.

ZARDARI PAYS TRIBUTE
Former President Asif Ali Zardari also paid his tributes and described her as “a towering personality, a woman of great courage who faced crises and endured tragedies in the cause of democratic struggle and lit the path for future generations.”
He said that her courage, tolerance and in endurance will continue to inspire democracy loving people in the country.
