Bilawal Bhutto’s birthday wishlist has no cake-cutting ceremonies

KARACHI: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto has exhorted the PPP leaders and workers to refrain from the traditional ceremonies of cutting cakes and other celebrations on his birthday on 21st September (tomorrow).

Instead he has encouraged them to visit victims of terrorism, orphanages, Edhi Homes and centers for disabled people.

The PPP coordination committees of Sindh, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Central Punjab, South Punjab and Azad Jammu & Kashmir have been directed for celebrating the birthday with the segments of society who deserve more attention and affection.

KP leaders have been asked to also visit the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs), Balochistan leaders to visit victims of Quetta blasts, AJK leaders to visit refugees, Central and South Punjab leaders to visit prisoners, while PPP Sindh leaders will visit Darul-Sukoon and other such centers for vulnerable children with disabilities.

They will distribute gifts and presents among children and other inmates at Edhi Homes, orphanages, and centers for disabled.
