According to a press release issued by the party, the PPP chairman not only congratulated the winners but also urged them to take on the Herculean task of providing people of the province all the basic civic amenities at their door-steps.
“Let the newly-elected heads give their best performance and prove that the PPP and people made a very good decision to elect them,” he stated.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that PPP was proud that it gave adequate representation for the first time to the minority communities in Local government besides nominating woman as Chairman and also inducting them into Sindh Cabinet.
Chandio dedicates win to Bhuttos
Adviser to Chief Minister Sindh on Information, Maula Bux Chandio dedicated the party’s victory to late chairpersons Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto and stated that the victory has silenced all the critics of the party.
“This victory proved that PPP’s roots are deep and strong within people and it is the only party which represents whole of Pakistan,” said Chandio.
He also congratulated party co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari, women wing president Faryal Talpur and CM Sindh Murad Ali Shah over party’s convincing win.
