Bilawal gets ‘Rakhi’ from an Indian woman

KARACHI: A woman from Indian state of Kerala sent a ‘Rakhi’ to the co-chairman of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, according to media reports.

The woman named Hina Lata sent a ‘Rakhi’ to Bilawal with a message that the people in India appreciate his efforts to bring people of Pakistan and India closer.

The woman also lauded the PPP co-chairman’s efforts to eradicate intolerance from society.

In Hindu mythology, ‘Rakhi’ is symbolic thread tied by sisters on their brothers’ wrists while praying for their safety.
