Bilawal instructs to utilise maximum resources for welfare of Sindh

KARACHI: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto has instructed Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and his cabinet to use their complete resources for the welfare of the province.

He was speaking to the newly-sworn provincial government which called on him at the Bilawal House, where he said that a comprehensive development plan should be set up particularly about those portfolios which have been devolved under the 18th Amendment.

He said that they will not tolerate any negligence from any ministries and all maximum efforts and resources should be used for the benefit and reducing the suffering of the people. Also, he ordered them to expedite the pace of development projects, and to ensure that the projects of the previous cabinet are completed.

The provincial government should make efforts to receive maximum funds from the federal government, so that the burden does not fall on the people of Sindh. Also, they should generate maximum revenue within and concentrate on health and education sector.

Bilawal strongly condemned the attack on Rangers personnel in Larkana, and ordered for the provision of the best treatment facilities in the attack.

Murad Ali Shah assured him that they will live up to the expectations of the people which will be seen through their performance.
