TOP NEWS

According to details, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari reached Multan through a special plane, where he was warmly welcomed by the former premier Yousuf Raza Gillani and other PPP leaders. He visited the flood-hit Muhammad Pur Ghota and the Sher Shah protective dyke, where he distributed relief goods among the flood-victims.

Later, the PPP chairman arrived at the residence of Yousuf Raza Gillani, met the party leaders and listened to their views.

Talking to media on this occasion, Bilawal urged the people to put aside their differences and get united to help the flood-victims. He said that the entire Punjab is sinking into flood, but some people are busy with their politics.

He said, “Those protesting in Islamabad are trying to overcome the truth by lying relentlessly”.

The PPP chairman said it is not the right time to play politics, instead all the people should unite together for helping the flood-affectees. He added that politics will be done but not now.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari requested the people staging sit-ins in Islamabad to call off their protests for the sake of flood-victims. He also expressed his hopes that the government will pay serious attention and will provide all possible assistance to the affected people.

On this occasion, he also vowed to accomplish the mission of Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto and said, “I feel lucky enough to stand with the people in a time of distress”.

Moreover, strict security arrangements were made upon the arrival of the PPP chairman in Multan and during his visits to different areas.
