SRINAGAR: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLAs registered their protest in the India-held Kashmir assembly and raised anti-Pakistan slogans against killing of eight Indian paramilitary soldiers when a group of armed militants ambushed the soldiers’ convoy in Srinagar on Sunday.

Shouting slogans against Pakistan with no hint about the proofs, the MLAs demanded strict action against the neighbouring country.

BJP leader, Ravinder Raina said for the first time anti-Pakistan slogans have been raised in IHK Assembly.

“This is very unfortunate. militants are continuously attacking our Jawans. Our jawans are getting sacrificed. Air strikes in terrorists camps in Pakistan Kashmir should be made so that this does not happen again. The nation will not accept further sacrifices. The assembly has condemned the attacks on jawans,” he said

He also added that Indian military and Air force should be allowed to enter the areas where militants are hiding.

Security personnel recovered arms and ammunition, including two AK 47 Rifles, 11 hand grenades from the killed terrorists who attacked the soldiers convoy.
