So it is official; Rani Mukherjee is indeed pregnant! The Bollywood actress, who married Yash Raj Films’ head honcho Aditya Chopra last year, has finally a child on the way. And we have pictures (non-vivid of course) to prove the claim.

The actress was clicked, from a safe distance by a paparazzi whilst she was about to climb onto a vehicle. From the distance, a man dressed in gray sipping from a water bottle, can be made out to be her husband Aditya Chopra (though, not confirmed). Before Rani could get into the vehicle, her large baby bump can be seen.

Rani Mukherjee was earlier confirmed as being pregnant, by her sister and TV actress Jyoti Mukherjee. Jyoti had also stated that the baby was due by January. Rani, till date, has refused to break the silence regarding her pregnancy and chosen to refrain from commenting on the subject and so has her husband.

Rani Mukherjee and her husband Aditya got married in a low-key ceremony last year. The festivities were carried out in Italy, attended by close friends and family members only. Rani Mukherjee is, according to media reports, in her second trimester. The media was deliberately kept out of the loop, regarding the actress’ impending motherhood.

Mukherjee was last seen in her latest movie Mardaani, in which she plays a valiant female police officer, out to deliver justice to perpetrators of drug trafficking and prostitution. Her acting garnered rave reviews and she even attended a charity dinner with Prince Charles due to her feminist role.

Will Rani also take a huge break from Bollywood, just like her contemporary Aishwarya Rai or will she churn out hits after hits, regardless of the responsibilities that come with parenting? Let’s see!
