Bomb found from Lahore’s Canal Road

LAHORE: An explosive weighing six kilograms was recovered from Lahore’s Canal Road sometime after Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan passed from the area, ARY News reported.

According to details, the bomb was planted inside a steel box.

The explosive were recovered by the law enforcement agencies while they were patrolling the area area. Sources said that Chaudhry Nisar had passed from the area where the bomb was found.

DIG Haider Ashraf said that the terrorists could have been waiting for a VIP movement in the area.

The bomb was later defused by the officials.
