Boxer Amir Khan calls on PM Sharif

ISLAMABAD: Pakistani origin British Boxer Amir Khan on Tuesday called on the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in Islamabad today, ARY News reported.

During the meeting, Khan extended condolences over the loss of lives in Peshawar incident and condemned the terrorists attack in strongest terms. He told the Prime Minister about his plan to set-up a boxing Academy in Pakistan.

On the occasion, the PM said terrorism will soon be eliminated from the country.

He said that a lot of terrorists have already been killed in operation Zarb-e-Azb.

Mr. Sharif said Pakistan was proud of the achievements made by Amir Khan.

Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar and Political Secretary Dr. Asif Kirmani were also present in the meeting.
