Burj Al-Arab continues to shine as world’s best hotel

According to details of the event published in the UK edition of Ultratravel, the Daily Telegraph’s travel pages, the world-famous hotel has also been able to claim the ‘Best Hotel in the Middle East’ award.

The announcement was made during a glamorous award ceremony held at The Savoy in London city of the United Kingdom.

Anthony McHale, General Manager of Burj Al-Arab, said, “Winning the ‘Best Hotel in the Middle East’, as well as the ‘Best Hotel in the World’ is an amazing recognition for Burj Al-Arab.”

This is the fourth year Burj Al-Arab has been awarded the ‘Best Hotel in the World’ title, and the tenth year for the property to win the ‘Best Hotel in the Middle East’.

“We are very honoured and I would like to thank the readers of Ultratravel UK magazine for their vote of confidence, our guests for their continuous support and our many colleagues who deliver the service we’re famous for every day,” said McHale excitingly.

Just recently, Burj Al Arab also unveiled its new beach leisure facility with the name of ‘The Terrace’ on May 25.

The facility, operated by Jumeirah, was inaugurated by Vice-President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Dubai’s ruler His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

The 10,000 square metre private luxury deck extends 100 metres into the Arabian Gulf and features 32 cabanas, 400 sun loungers, a fresh water pool and a salt water pool, a restaurant and a bar.
