ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has said that the new budget has been poor-friendly adding that the government has not increased prices of Ghee, sugar, and other essential commodities, ARY News reported on Saturday.
The Federal Government has increased the allocation for the environment by 12.7% from 936 million for 2014-15 to Rs 1,055 billion for 2015-16.
Of every hundred rupees that the Federal Government will spend in 2015-16, more than a quarter, or Rs 28.75 to be precise, will go towards servicing its debt.
The table below shows that the bulk of the shortfall came from the Federal Board of Revenue's end which missed its 2014-15 tax collection target by Rs 205 billion, or 7.2%
