During the meeting, matters pertaining to bilateral ties, security situation and regional issues came under discussion.
The COAS and the US Central Command chief also agreed to boost defence cooperation between the two courtiers.
Later, General Lloyd Austin also laid floral wreath on the ‘monument of martyrs’ and lauded sacrifices of Pakistan’s Armed Forces in war on terror.
