The remarks were made during a meeting with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif at the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
He said that Pakistan itself is a victim of terrorism and hoped that the situation between India and Pakistan will not escalate.
The Chinese premier also hoped that there will be better understanding of Pakistani position on Kashmir by the international community. He said that they are ready to play a constructive role to improve relations between India and Pakistan.
He thanked Sharif for investing huge resources for the safety and security of Chinese personnel in Pakistan.
Nawaz Sharif showed his satisfaction on the state of relations between Pakistan and China, and welcomed the statement of China on the atrocities being committed in Indian-Occupied Kashmir.
He said that Pakistan is committed to the peace and stability in the region and condemns terrorism in all its forms and manifestation. Operation Zarb-e-Azb is going on successfully and has dismantled the network of terrorists from the country.
He said that they are looking forward to the Chinese Premiers visit to Pakistan. Pak-China relations have entered from a political to an economic phase which is a matter of great happiness for them.
