According to details, Chitral beat Gilgit 10-5 to win the tournament.
Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif was the guest of honour in the closing ceremony. He lauded the organizers of the tournament and said that the festival will promote tourism, which is welcoming for the country.
People from all parts of the country were present to watch the final between the two sides. The spectators also enjoyed the song and dance performance on the occasion.
Chitral Scouts also put up a marching band display, which was enjoyed by the spectator.
A para-gliding display in the closing ceremony also enthralled the audience.
Governments of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit Baltistan had collaborated after four years to organize the Shandur Polo Festival. Frontier Constabulary (FC) had provided security for the event.
Thousands of people, including foreigners, also take part in the festival.
