Her name is Mel McLaughlin and she is a renowned female sports reporter. Mel was interviewing West Indian pinch hitter and flamboyant batsman Chris Gayle after he had been dismissed for 41. Chris Gayle had been playing for the Melbourne Renegades in the Australian Big Bash League and had paused for a moment to chat with Mel.
In response to a question posed to him about his knock, Gayle said,” Hopefully we will go out for a drink after this. Don’t blush baby.”
Taken aback by the Gay;e’s comment, McLaughlin managed to say “I’m not blushing”, before reverting back to cricketing questions. In the end, Chris Gayle laughed and said sorry to Mel McLaughlin. Here’s the video:-

@pste_sinclair What a pity #ChrisGayle wastes his time trying to ‘make’ female TV interviewers instead of runs for the #Windies Test team! — Hugh Terry (@Hugorelly) January 4, 2016
Well played @Mel_Mclaughlin in flat batting Chris Gayle. Unprofessional & inappropriate from him. #ChrisGayle

The most disappointing part of the #ChrisGayle interview is…there actually is nowhere to go out for a drink in Hobart on a Monday night — Dunc McKenzie McHarg (@duncanmcmc) January 4, 2016
Cringe-worthy. Embarrassing. Unprofessional. Uncool #chrisgayle #BBL05
