Chup Taziya procession taken out

KARACHI: ‘Chup Taziya’ procession was taken out on Wednesday to honor Hazrat Imam Hassan Askari (R.A), ARY News reports from Karachi.

The mourning procession started from Nishtar Park and ended at Hussainian Iranian Imambargah while passing through M.A. Jinnah Road, Empress Market, Regal Intersection, Tibet Centre, Radio Pakistan, Lighthouse and Boulton Market.

The mourners recited nauhas and did maatam (chest beating) in the mourning procession.

Allama Ali Qaraar Naqvi recited majlis at Nishtar Park in which he shed light on the sacrifices rendered by Hazrat Imam Hussain (R.A) and his companions in Karbala.

Strict security measures were taken to ensure that no untoward incident took place during the processions.

Another “Chup Taziya” procession will be taken out from Qasr-e-Mussayab Imambargah to Shah Najaf Imambargah after Zuhr prayers today.
