A British newspaper has stated that the medical condition of several Al-Qaeda detainees is critical. It further mentions that the people who were tortured include mastermind of 9/11 attacks Khalid Shaikh Mohammad, close accomplice of Osama Bin Laden Abu Zubaydah and Abd al-Rahim al-Nashiri.
The senator who prepared the report has said that the details of the torture carried out by CIA are “horrific”.
The complete report, based on 3600 pages, will be issued to the public soon.
