CJ Jamali stresses on unusual measures to tackle country’s situation

KARACHI: Chief Justice of Pakistan Anwar Zaheer Jamali has said that extraordinary measures have to be taken to tackle present situation of the country, ARY News reports.

The chief justice laid the foundation stone of a special court building at Karachi’s Central Jail.

A freshly turned out contingent of Sindh Police presented Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali with a salute upon his arrival.

Justice Jamali, addressing the ground-breaking ceremony, said that Pakistan is facing unusual circumstances for the past 15 years and extraordinary measures have to be taken to tackle the ongoing situation.

He added that aim of shifting the anti-terrorism court is to provide protection to the judges, lawyers and eye-witnesses.
