CJP summons full court session over military courts

ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Nasir ul Mulk has summoned a full court session of judges over formation of military courts, ARY News reported on Thursday.

The judges will discuss the legality of the military courts and other aspects of the matter.

Supreme Court Judge Justice Jawad S. Khawaja has said that blaming courts for delay in hearing of cases is incorrect. Lesser number of judges is the reason behind delay in settlement of the cases, he said.

He said when the government asked to enhance the number of judges it laments about the shortage of funds. He said the government should confess its failure before the public over the issue.
