A 90-run partnership between Daniel Flynn and BJ Watling revived the Districts’ inning after the openers had a bit of a struggle.
Skipper of Northern Districts Daniel Flynn made 53 runs off 30 balls hitting five 4s and two sixes. Watling hit seven boundaries and a six to score 53 that came off in 37 balls.
Aizaz Cheema took three wickets giving away 35 runs while Asif Raza, Mohammad Hafeez and Adnan Rasool dismissed one batsman each.
Lahore Lions showed a disappointing display during the chase as only one batsman namely, Saad Nasim scored in double figures while the rest of ten batsmen failed to enter even in two digit score.

Boult took 2 wickets conceding 12 runs while Southee’s figures were 4-0-22-3.
In reply to District’s 170, Lahore Lions were all out for 98 in 18 overs. Nasim was the last man to be dismissed. He made 58 off 40 balls.
