CL T20: Lahore Lions to play unbeaten Kolkata Knight Rider

HYDERABAD: Pakistan’s domestic champion Lahore Lions will begin the second phase of their Champions League T20 campaign with the match against one of the tournament favorites, Kolkata Knight Riders today, ARY News reported.

Lahore Lions had outplayed both the subcontinental opponents in the qualifying phase, but were woeful against Northern Knights, slumping to 37 for 7 at one stage.

It would be interested to see that which version the Lions will show up against quasi India-Pakistan clash today.

Lions will play after the four-day break since their previous game. Lahore Lions went through a hard practice sessions in the last two days for the match against Knight Riders.

Opening batsman Ahmad Shahzad will not be the part of playing XI for today’s match due to groin strain.
