CM KP inaugurates City Patrol Peshawar project

PESHAWAR: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Pervez Khattak on Thursday inaugurated City Patrol Peshawar project at Police Lines Peshawar.


This project is aimed at improving security measures in the city.


Policemen in this squad are said to do patrolling in different parts of the city in two shifts and will remain ready to deal with any criminal activity, while it will not perform duty at any police station and they will.


The squad comprises of two hundred trained policemen with 22 police vans.


Members of this squad will also carry out operations of opening the blocked roads, helping the elderly people to cross the road and taking the injured people to hospital in cases of accidents.
