CM Sindh asks for evidence of contact between MQM Pakistan and London

SUKKUR: Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah has asked to provide evidence of contact between the London and Pakistan factions of the Mutahida Quami Movement (MQM).

He was speaking to media, where he said that MQM had completely transformed itself in the last month, and had even removed the name of Altaf Hussain from party leadership.

He said that the matters were going alright until the incendiary speech on 22nd August during the hunger strike camp, when they received reports of a likely attack on the Chief Minister House.

He also said that Karachi mayor Waseem Akhtar will have to complete the legal procedures to secure his release.

He assured to create such a local government system in the province that further officers will be bound to work. He also visited several areas of the city and the recently inaugurated Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplantation (SIUT).  He ordered to expedite work on incomplete development projects.
