CM Sindh, DG Rangers vows to continue operation against terrorists

KARACHI: Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and Director General Sindh Rangers Major General Bilal Akbar in a meeting on Saturday agreed to continue operations against terrorists and criminal elements in Karachi, ARY News reported.

DG Rangers called on CM Sindh at Chief Minister House and discussed the law and order situation in Karachi in detail.

Shah said that the crackdown against terrorists and extremists in the provincial capital should be stepped up. He added that there will no compromise on maintaining law and order in the metropolis.

“There will be an end to criminal elements in the city for sure,” Chief Minister Shah said.

DG Rangers briefed the chief minister about the measures being taken to control the law and order situation in Karachi. Maj. Gen. Bilal Akbar said that crackdown against terrorists will be continued in the city.

“Not a single terrorist will be tolerated. All law enforcement agencies are cooperating with each other,” he added.
