CM Sindh gives Junaid Jamshed assurance to clean Karachi

“The chief minister has promised that he will conduct a meeting with health minister Sindh on Sunday to address all of our grievances. The meeting will be attended by two of our representatives,” said Junaid Jamshed while talking to ARY News regarding his ‘Ab Hoga Saaf Karachi’ (Karachi will become clean now) drive.

The singer-turned-scholar said he said to the CM that the issue would not be resolved with claims only. Work would have to be done now.

He said deputy commissioners of each districts should have two helpline numbers where citizens could lodge complaints.

To a query, he said records of our previous governments were not good though, but still they hoped for good.

“I will not rest now, till Karachi becomes one of the most beautiful cities of the world. The CM has fully ensured me and asked to point out where there was need,” he said positively.

JJ said his team told Murad Ali Shah that the meeting to be held on Sunday will be documented and its suggestions will later be monitored.

Commissioner Karachi Ejaz Ahmad Khan also assured that the metropolis will be cleaned after the CM had given go-ahead for it.
