Murad meets Hanif Mohammad, inquires about health

KARACHI: Chief Minister of Sindh Murad Ali Shah called on Pakistani cricket legend Hanif Mohammad at a private hospital in Karachi on Monday and inquired about his health, ARY News reported.

According to details, CM Sindh arrived at the hospital to inquire about the health of the former batsman. Shah informed ailing Hanif Muhammed that he is his big fan and is praying for his speedy recovery.

The chief minister said that he will bear the expenses of the batsman’s treatment. He went on to say that the provincial government will give Rs. one million to the ailing cricketer for his medical treatment.

Former Pakistan cricket legend Hanif Muhammad was transferred to hospital in critical condition after respiratory problems and congestion.

He was diagnosed lung cancer three years ago and underwent surgery in London which helped bring it under control, the condition, however, spread with time and it has been reappeared again.
