COAS attends funeral prayers for Peshawar school attack victims

At least 141 people including 132 children were slain when Taliban terrorists stormed Army Public School in Peshawar. Nine staff members including the principal were also killed in the heinous attack.

The nation is mourning the attack which has left the country in shock and grief.

Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Pervez Khattak and large number of soldiers were also present in the funeral prayers.

The army chief raised slogans with the soldiers and expressed his determination in the fight against terrorism.

General Sharif also paid a visit to the injured at Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Peshawar.

The army chief, in a briefing at Peshawar Corps Headquarters, briefed the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif about the rescue operation.
