Addressing to political leadership during All Parties Conference in Islamabad today, General Raheel Sharif said positive results have been attained by military operations Khyber One and Zarb-e-Azb.
COAS informed meeting that those offenders, who directly related to the Peshawar school attack, were gunned down during the encounter while many others have been arrest to find out culprits involved in the planning of the attack.
General Raheel Sharif told that Commander ISAF assured their full support in the fight against terrorism and eliminating terrorists on Afghan soil adding that better results can be achieved by bilateral co-operation of Pakistan and Afghanistan.
Yesterday, chief of General Staff Afghan National Army (ANA), General Sher Muhammad Karimi and Commander ISAF, General John Campbel called on General Raheel Sharif in Rawalpindi.
Raheel Sharif stressed to remain united in the war against terrorism by saying ” War can only be won with unity”.
