COAS Sharif visits CMH Peshawar; consoles injured

PESHAWAR: Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Raheel Sharif has visited the Combine Military Hospital (CMH) Peshawar and met the injured of the Taliban school attack, ARY News reported.

According to details, the Army Chief visited CMH Peshawar in the evening on Tuesday, where he inquired the well-being of the injured of today’s deadly terrorist attack on a military-run school in Peshawar.

General Sharif met the injured students and consoled them.

On this occasion, the injured students told the Army Chief that the terrorist failed in shaking their determination and urged the forces’ commander to crush terrorism for saving the homeland.

They expressed their resolve by saying, “We are determined and stand by the Pakistan Army in its fight against terrorism”.

A student whose name could not be ascertained told the COAS that he and his fellows should be considered as the ‘soldiers’ fighting miscreants in the operation Zarb-e-Azb.
