According to details, General Raheel Sharif on Wednesday visited the Northern Light Infantry (NLI) Center in Bonji in Gilgit-Baltistan, a light infantry regiment of the Pakistan Army and laid a floral wreath at the monument of martyrs there.
On this occasion, the Army Chief urged the officials and troops to keep serving the nation with high spirits. He said that the military should further enhance its professional skills in order to meet the future challenges.
Sources told that the COAS also visited field formations in different parts of Gilgit, where the formation commanders briefed the Army Chief on professional affairs of the military.
