Coast guards arrest 90 over trying to enter Iran illegally

KARACHI: Pakistan Coast Guards arrested 90 persons on Wednesday as they were trying to go to Iran via illegal means, ARY News reported.

According to details, 90 people were arrested by the coast guards during checking at Jiwani and Shahjahan Road in Gwadar.

The arrested people included 87 Pakistanis, 01 Afghani, 01 Iranian and an Omani national. They had no legal documents and were trying to cross the Pak-Iranian border through illegal means.

The nabbed persons were handed over to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) for legal procedures.

Pakistan Coast Guards had 1152 persons over trying to enter foreign countries through unlawful means.
