Committee formed for implementation of execution to convicted criminals: Information Minister KPK

ABBOTABAD: Information Minister of Khyber PakhtunKhwa (KPK) Mushtaq Ahmed Ghani informed on Saturday that a committee has been formed for the implementation of death penalty to convicted criminals in the province, ARY News reported.

Speaking to media at office of electronic media in Abbotabad today,  Mushtaq Ahmed Ghani said the formed committee will submit its recommendation soon.

He said law enforcement agencies are on high alert in the view of reaction from militants on executions.

The Minister said Chief Minister of the province has advised Inspector General (IG) Police to increase men power keeping in view the law and order situation. He added that the utmost priority of provincial government is control law and order situation.

He further said that federal government has been asked to limit Afghan refugees to the camps within a month adding that provincial government will do it of their own if federal government didn’t  get it done.
